More Indoor Play & Instructional Clinics!

MORE Indoor Play Opportunities 

In our Members Survey conducted last fall, you asked for opportunities to play on weekday evenings and we delivered with a new venue and two week-night play sessions at Earl Beatty Community Centre (EBCC).  The response has been  tremendous with sell-out nights and waiting lists. To meet the growing demand we are adding Monday nights to EBCC.  

Beginning Monday, February 12th, Intermediate, including Advanced Beginner, Sessions will run from 6-8 pm and Advanced Play will follow from 8-10 pm.  The sessions are available on Court Reserve and registration will open up 6 days prior to each event.

Also during the month of February we have switched the nights of Advanced and Intermediate, including Advanced Beginner, play.  Now Intermediate and Advanced Beginners will sign up for Tuesday night sessions and Advanced play takes place on Thursday nights.  The change was made to accommodate Member requests.  

NEW Instructional Clinics at Upper Canada College

Grab your paddles and get ready to dink with purpose, punch, drive and overhead smash at the non-volley zone.  Sharpen your court strategy with great positioning, “shake n bakes” and ATPs.   All clinics take place at the UCC Bubble – a great venue with a tennis court surface.

Two experienced and skilled coaches with POWWR (Pickleball of Waterloo Wellington Region) are offering clinics exclusive to ETPA Members.  Sign up for the right level of instruction by reviewing Pickleball Skills Assessment.  If you’re unsure, reach out to info@easttorontopickleball.ca for help.

INTERMEDIATE CLINIC (3.0 – 3.5)

Will include a review of good footwork, dinking at the NVZ, and several shots that all happen at the nvz…blocks, punches, even overheads!

2 dates available.  Same instruction for both clinics.  

Space is limited (16 players per session)  Sign up for one session only.

All sessions will be held at Upper Canada College Tennis Bubble.  200 Lonsdale Road, near Avenue Road and St. Clair.

Option 1

Friday, February 16th 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.  (2 hours)

Cost:  $35/clinic

Option 2

Saturday, March 23rd  9:00 am – 11:00 am (2 hours)

Cost: $35/clinic

ADVANCED  CLINIC (3.5+)

Will include shot selection and court positioning as well as speed ups, shake n bakes and ATPs.

PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION

Sign up for one session only on Court Reserve beginning Wednesday, February 7th at 9:00 am.  Payment is required when registering.
